How Company Path makes money, which partners we work with, and the editorial firewall that keeps revenue out of our rankings. Posted publicly and updated within 30 days of any change.
Four operating principles that govern every recommendation, ranking, and review we publish. They've been our policy since the day we started and they've never moved for a sponsor.
No partner has ever paid for, requested, or successfully influenced a ranking position. Our methodology weighs cost, transparency, customer support, and exit experience — never commission rate.
Affiliate commissions are paid by the service to us, never added to your price. You pay the same listed rate whether you arrive through our link or directly.
We've removed two services from our rankings entirely for customer-support failures — both were paying affiliate partners at the time. We chose the reader.
The complete list of services we receive affiliate revenue from is published below — updated within 30 days of any new partnership or termination.
Company Path is independently owned and entirely funded through affiliate relationships with select formation services and business-tooling vendors. When a reader clicks one of our affiliate links and completes a qualifying signup, the service pays us a referral commission.
We accept no display advertising, no sponsored posts, no paid inclusions, and no "featured listing" placements. The pages on this site contain no banner ads or pop-ups.
We will only enter an affiliate relationship with a service that meets all of the following criteria, evaluated independently by our editorial team:
Services that don't meet the bar don't get linked, regardless of commission offered.
As of the publication date of this page, Company Path holds active affiliate relationships with the following formation and business-tooling services. The list is reviewed monthly and updated within 30 days of any change.
We've terminated two prior partnerships since 2023. Both removals are documented in our public editorial change log.
Every outbound link to an affiliate partner carries the standard
rel="sponsored" attribute and is grouped under a
visible "Affiliate Partner" label in our comparison tables.
Text links inside the body of an article that lead to an affiliate partner are flagged with a small underline indicator and disclosed at the start of the article.
This page and the affiliate-link conventions described above are designed to satisfy the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, as updated in 2023.
